The first thing that I am always asked when a customer is considering a custom piece of my art is "How much will it cost?" The answer to that question is affected by many factors. The first and primary determinant of cost is the size of the piece. A larger piece will require more glass, which will raise the price for completion. Another major factor in the price is the complexity and number of pieces. A project with many intricate pieces will always cost more than a comparably sized piece with fewer pieces.
I thoroughly enjoy drawing that personalized piece for a client, which is unique and original. My pieces can be the focal point of design and decoration. To me when I am contemplating my next design, I look for a more challenging piece to create, detail doesn’t intimidate me, and I am recognized for details in my designs. However, I do enjoy simplistic designs too. Sometimes less is more.

In designing windows, special attention is paid not only to the artistic placement of each piece of glass, but also to insuring quality craftsmanship. If I custom draw you your next piece of art in glass, in all my works; fitted panels, free-form and sun catchers, I insists upon the highest quality in my materials and in my workmanship.
I will accept a limited number of commissions for custom work. I work in a consultative manner with clients who want custom work, and will give a firm price quote once the initial drawings are completed. I work extensively with the homeowner, changing the design and consulting on colors until it is perfect. Client suggestions regarding color and backgrounds will be considered where possible.

Custom work can take from one to two months to complete, depending on the time of year and my schedule. For commissioned originals, I must first go to the home where the art will be placed and pick glass that will complement the color scheme. I will do reference photos if your home is not in my geographic region. I will need a selection of in-focus, good quality photographs from which to work, preferably from a number of different angles. I will also need the accurate and precise measurements of what you would like done. All photographs will be returned with the finished artwork.
